- MT 4.2 RC4 is planned for next week
- Release is still planned for end of July
- We will be releasing Movable Type Community Solution (MTCS) and Enterprise Solution (MTES) on top of MT 4.2 at the time we release the base MT 4.2 product as well.
- The MTES and MTCS releases will contain pack-specific bug fixes in addition to all of the the new core features and fixes in MT 4.2.
- MTCS RC3 is now available in an open and public beta

Question from JayAllen: "In 4.2 will MT create backups of your global templates when you refresh them?" Answer: yes.

Contributing to MTOS
Open Source is not just about the "source." Open Source is a philosophy of accepting contributions of all sorts to a product or project. Greyhound seeks to dramatically increase transparency into our development and planning process by making requirements available to community early and often for feedback and review.
